As a reminder, the business portion of our meeting will be concise so that we can hear from the candidates who are running for positions that you will be voting for in Municipal Election. If you are a BSRA member, you are significantly invested in the municipality by way of the tax installments you pay, particularly in proportion to the municipality as a whole. You need to know who is making decisions and spending money on your behalf. This will be your best opportunity.
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING OUR CANDIDATES MEETING, PLEASE ATTEND The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority SMP information meeting at the same facility. The presentations will begin at 10:30 AM. Learn about the current recommendations for the Shoreline Management Plan Draft that ABCA staff plan to present to the ABCA Board of Directors this fall. You will be able to ask questions, and there is opportunity to provide feedback until September 15th, prior to the draft completion. THERE WILL STILL BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THE FINAL DRAFT AFTER THE ABCA BOARD APPROVES IT BECOMING AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC
We realize this is a full morning, however also recognize that our members not likely to want to spend 2 Saturday mornings in meetings so these important events are combined in one morning. We look forward to seeing you.
