At the conclusion of the AGM, the municipal candidates for the positions of Mayor Paul Klopp and Tyler Hessel, Deputy Mayor Bill Dowson and Jim Ferguson, Stanley West George Irvin and Taylor Van Aaken, Hay West John Gillespie and Alwyn Vanden Berg made short presentations to BSRA members. The presentations by each candidate focused on what were issues in the municipality of importance to voters
