Huron County Health Unit and Health Issues with IWT’s

posted in: News | 0

Recently Council asked staff to look into the best way to track complaints or reports of health issues believed to be related to Industrial Wind Turbines. After consulting with the Health Unit, it continues to be recommended that if residents have health concerns regarding wind turbines they must contact the Spills Action Centre at the Ministry of the Environment at 1-800-268-6060. If after they investigate and if they are unable to address their concerns, the next step is to send their concerns to the Health Unit electronically to hchu@huroncounty.ca for further review and investigation.

There is interesting information being circulated this week.
